铁死亡在椎间盘退变发生发展中的作用研究进展

中文摘要: 椎间盘退变是脊柱退行性疾病的基础,也是导致下腰痛的主要原因之一,甚至会引起残疾。其发病过程较为复杂,与感染、吸烟、糖尿病、遗传异常、衰老等多种因素密切相关。据统计,下腰痛的终生患病率超过80%,严重影响了患者的工作状态和生活质量。近年来,临床发现一种新的程序性细胞死亡类型——铁死亡,其发生与铁依赖相关,在骨质疏松、骨关节炎、骨衰老等多种骨骼及关节疾病的发生、发展中发挥重要调控作用。现本文通过分析铁死亡的发生机制、铁死亡与椎间盘退变等,对铁死亡在椎间盘退变发生发展中作用的研究进展进行综述。
Abstract:Intervertebral disc degeneration is the foundation of degenerative spinal diseases and one of the main causes of low back pain, which can even lead to disability. The pathogenesis of this condition is complex and closely related to various factors such as infection, smoking,diabetes,genetic abnormalities,and aging. Statistics showed that the lifetime prevalence of low back pain exceeded 80%, significantly affecting patients' work status and quality of life. In recent years,a new type of programmed cell death ,known as ferroptosis,has been clinically identified. This process is iron-dependent and plays a significant regulatory role in the development and progression of various bone and joint diseases,including osteoporosis,osteoarthritis,and bone aging. This article reviews the research progress on the role of ferroptosis in the development of intervertebral disc degeneration by analyzing the mechanisms of ferroptosis and its relationship with intervertebral disc degeneration.
