Abstract:Professor Liu Shenlin believes that deficiency of healthy qi and excess of pathogenic factors are the basic pathogenesis of chemotherapy - related diarrhea in digestive tract tumors，and runs through the whole course of the disease. Based on the pathogenesis characteristics of“deficiency”，“stasis”and“poison”of tumors and the understanding of the law of“chemotherapy-induced yang injury”，it is proposed that the disease is located in the spleen and kidney，which is closely related to the liver and lung. The initial deficiency is spleen qi deficiency and spleen yang deficiency，and gradually to spleen and kidney yang deficiency. The treatment is to tonify deficiency and invigorate the spleen，warm the kidney and increase yang. At the same time，the relationship between the organs is considered，and the application of warm，tonify，transport and harmony is highlighted. Taking into account the medicine，prescription，decoction method and usual care，often can achieve better curative effects. A supporting case study is included.
