Abstract:Objective To analyze the correlation between triglyceride - glucose（TyG）index and urinary stones in Hohhot and provide some data support for the clinical use of TyG index. Methods A total of 151 patients with urinary stones admitted to Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region People 's Hospital from January 1，2021 to June 1，2024 were retrospectively collected，and 120 healthy people were taken as the control group. The correlation between TyG index and urinary stones was analyzed. Results In the observation group，the male proportion，age，triacylglycerol（TG），TyG index，serum creatinine（Scr）and TG high density lipoprotein cholesterol（HDL-C）were higher than those in the control group，and HDL-C was lower than that in the control group，with statistical significance（P < 0.05）. Univariate logistic regression analysis showed that TyG index，TG，TG/HDL - C，HDL - C，fasting blood glucose（FBG），age，gender and Scr were the influencing factors of urinary stones（P < 0.05）. Further multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that high TyG index and Scr，old age and male were independent risk factors for urinary stones（P <0.05），while high TC was a protective factor for urinary stones（P < 0.05）. The receiver operating curve（ROC）curve was drawn and the area under the curve（AUC）value was calculated，and the Results showed that TyG index，Scr and age had good predictive value for urinary stones. The best cut-off value of TyG index was 8.905，and its sensitivity and specificity were 0.623 and 0.756，respectively. Conclusion TyG index is related to the development of urinary stones，which is a risk factor for urinary stones and has certain predictive value.
