Abstract:Objective Based on bibliometrics, analyze relevant clinical literature on Chinese Medicine treatment of pancreatic cancer, explore the development trends and research progress in this field, and provide references for clinical applications and research directions. Methods Literature published from January 1, 2003, toOctober 31, 2023, on Chinese medicine treatment of pancreatic cancer was retrieved from major databases including China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) , China Biology Medicine disc (CBM) , VIP, and Wanfang Data. Literature screening was conducted based on inclusion and exclusion criteria, and biometric analysis was applied to the selected literature. Results Over the past 20 years, the publication volume of literature on Chinese medicine treatment for pancreatic cancer has shown an overall upward trend, peaking in 2019. The top ten author provinces were mainlyShanghai, Beijing, Heilongjiang, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu, with Shanghai being the most prominent. Research institutions such as Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine, the Tumor Hospital Affiliated with Fudan University, Shanghai University of Chinese Medicine, and Fudan University were at the leading edge in the field of Chinese medicine treatment for pancreatic cancer. The main medications used include those for tonifying qi, clearing heat, regulating qi, promoting blood circulation to remove blood stasis, detoxifying and resolving dampness, strengthening the spleen and dispersing nodules, and resolving dampness. Conclusion Chinese medicine treatment for pancreatic cancer is gradually gaining clinical attention, but the specific Chinese medicine therapies need further standardization. Future research should focus on enhancing high-quality, multi-center studies across regions and institutions to advance the progress of Chinese medicine treatment for pancreatic cancer.
